Local Keyword Search Strategies
As we move forward to setup your search sites, you will need specific keywords. Some of these will be short keywords or keyword phrases. Others will be long-tail keywords (explained in the video) that we will use with your blog. Make sure that you have a notepad handy to take notes and compile your own list of keywords. From Step 1 you should already have a great idea of your keywords.
Your goal is to determine the top 5 keywords for your business. For example, if you are a plumber you might have Plumber, Plumbing, Emergency Plumber, Hot Water Tanks, Drain Cleaning. You get the idea. By doing thorough keyword research, you can see what people are searching on the most.
